My Cebu and Bohol Escapade

SUMMER OF 2011. It’s been two years since me and my two close friends Axiel and Jonna went to Bohol to spend a 5-day vacation. There are three reasons why it was a very memorable summer. First, we were reunited with one of our barkada who is permanently living in Cebu City, two years after our high school graduation. Second, being with the Jumawid family and staying in their residence felt like home. And third, being with Axiel and Jonna all throughout was so much fun. 🙂

I remember lighting a candle here with my mother and sister long time ago,
this time with my close friends.

The cross of Magellan, the oldest landmark in the City of Cebu, and the Holy Child of Jesus, the oldest and most historical relic in the Philippines, stand today as the two greatest monuments that speak of the glorious discovery, formation and christian civilization of the Philippines.

.

We decided to rest our tired feet at SM City of Cebu, we saw this display and our hearts melted. Honestly speaking, I never seen these in the malls of Davao.

.

We spent how many minutes just to figure out what flavor to buy. Thanks to their staff who gave us some free tastes! Yay!

.

Happy faces but sad hearts. PRECIOUS memories.

.

20

We still need to check-in for our departure to the city of Bohol. Lucky enough, Kitting went with us at the port.

.

We spent some minutes of little talks and goodbyes with our friend before we checked-in. It was mixed emotions. While we were on the barge, we slept out of tiredness. It was already evening when we arrived.
